About Us - Doody Engineering
Doody Engineering have been in business since the early 1900’s. A family owned business where customers as treated as family members. Specialising in fabrication and maintenance work customer problems and challenges are Doody’s problems and challenges. At Doody’s we have built a reputation as problem solvers for our customers.
In the early years of Doody Engineering, demand was mostly for general ironworks and agricultural trailers. The difficulty of this work is that it is mainly seasonal. In the early ’90s, Matthew Doody made a strategic decision to develop Doody Engineering and secured a place in Kostal Ireland GmbH, turning out industrial tables and frames whilst exhibiting innovation and ingenuity in various problematic scenarios which often occur.
In more recent years, Doody Engineering has grown its customer base to include Design Pro Ltd, Alps Electric Ireland Ltd, Robotics and Control Ltd. Doody Engineering work in partnership with these companies to assist them with innovative projects.
Doody Engineering also work with clients in the area of repair and maintenance. Limerick City and County Council are a fine example of Doody Engineering clients for whom they perform repair and maintenance works on various emergency vehicles and road maintenance fleet.
